Today’s Prompt: New Version

Which book’s world would be the absolute worst to live in?

I don’t know why today’s prompt looks exactly like mathematics to me. I read it quickly in the morning and got nowhere with it. I thought that might be because of some lack of concentration, since I had other things to see to in the morning. And soon it was evening, and I decided to re-read today’s prompt.

I read it again and again and again, and it looked not only like mathematics but also like physics. These two subjects I haven’t read or studied for ages, mainly after finishing high school. So today’s prompt looks exactly like those complicated equations and formulas that nowadays give me a headache.

Then, I decided to rewrite today’s prompt as: What is the worst book that you absolutely wouldn’t want to open again?

Please feel free to use this one as a simple and easy version of the original prompt.

Now, I can already see the answer.

Mathematics and physics; these two subjects aren’t for everyone. I didn’t find them completely hard during my school years, but I didn’t wish or dream of opening another book about these two subjects later in life.

You can be genius in other subjects, can’t you?

And there are books that you have to learn from, and there are books that you enjoy learning from.

The books you like, you will find, read, and perhaps keep.

The others, having done their job, can rest in peace in our memories.

With today’s writing prompt thoughts,
