What’s the funniest misunderstanding you’ve ever been part of?

reminding you in advance,
reminding you politely,
almost begging you to use your eyes.
Still, you pull instead of push
and push instead of pull.
Then you pause for a second, wondering what’s wrong,
your face warming with embarrassment.
In a split second, you realise your mistake
and you smile… or laugh… or giggle.
And you breathe a long sigh of relief,
feeling happy as you promise yourself to use your eyes properly next time.
