Convivial!
It was such a convivial morning;
bright, warm, and quiet.
No cars were rolling,
no one was running,
no wind was blowing,
no rain was pouring.
The sky was clear,
the road was clean,
and the air was crisp and warm.
What about those early risers?
The birds in their cosy nests.
“Tweet, tweet,” they whispered,
careful not to disturb this convivial beginning of the day.
