Please Bear With Me

Starting today, please don’t be surprised if I like and dislike your post at the same time. Or if you catch me me follow a conversation I have no idea how and when I get into. Or if I subscribe and then unsubscribe to your blog. 

Oh my … I am pretty sure things like that have happened before, but honestly that’s mainly because of a lagging internet connection or a frozen screen. If this happens today or tomorrow, or even already did, my sincere apologies!

So starting now, hopefully for just a few days, I might be a bit clumsy because I am using a new device. Every time I switch to a new one, funny things happen. Sometimes I wish I had kept the old one as there was no thing wrong with it. But my sons want to get me a special gift for my special day, and here I am using it. It’s actually great, but my brain needs time to befriend it. 

You know the most annoying thing right now? It is Jetpack app. I can’t find the Reader icon as I used to on the other device. So I’ve switched to using WordPress in the browser, and I’m trying to navigate my way through it.

Hopefully things will get better soon.

What is the Art of Waiting?

It’s the highly esteemed virtue—

the companion of wisdom,

the friend of perseverance,

the key to peace,

the first rule of trust,

the fuel for success,

the road to love,

and the gate to happiness.



Am I missing something?

Oh yes—

it’s the prayer we repeat,
believing it’s been heard
and will be answered
at its perfect time.

Now, do you know what the art of waiting is?

It’s patience.
And it is really hard to master this highest form of art.

But, sometimes, people test your patience until you can’t hold the horses anymore. You won’t just let the horses go wild, but you might burn the bridges or, like Samson, destroy the temple.

Perhaps that’s why patience can’t thrive without faith.

Aren’t the patient the most blessed?

Justice, Patience, And Victory

Have you ever noticed that these three words come in order both alphabetically and practically?

Justice is the supreme power that blesses Patience and grants Victory — all in time.

By the way, I am referring to Divine Justice here. This is the Supreme Power that is just, merciful, and abundant.

Humans cannot be trusted with his great responsibility, because humans are humans.

We have this funny saying in Arabic: if the keys of heaven were given to a human being, they would hurry inside and lock all its gates —  not to let any other soul in and to have it all for themselves. As for the keys to the gates of hell, there’s no thing “funnier” than watching the news.  “Humans” are already opening the gates of hell into others’ lives by following their own laws and their own justice.

Patience is a virtue that is always rewarded by the best. Most of the time, the patient are also wise, because, though helpless, they are not faithless. The patient never gives up and keeps living.

Victory is coming — the long – awaited prize. The divine promise knows no jokes, but everything happens in God’s time. Both the dead and the living will feel it, celebrate it, and thank the Lord for it.

Justice, patience, and victory — three harmonious, universal concepts.

Have you ever prayed for the first, strived for the second, and celebrated the third?
